As part of the Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala 2025 festival, audiences will once again be delighted this summer by one of its most charismatic and beloved guest performers – the renowned Georgian singer and composer Nino Katamadze. Her vibrant and sincere voice will once again fill the Dzintari Concert Hall, inviting listeners to experience the power of music that unites and inspires.
The festival’s muse, Laima Vaikule, remarks: “Nino Katamadze’s performances are always a celebration. Her music is not just a collection of sounds – it is an entire world: genuine, multi-layered, and heartfelt. We are thrilled that she will be with us again, giving listeners unforgettable moments.”
Nino Katamadze has become an integral part of the festival audiences and guests not only love and eagerly await her performances, but also recognize her as one of the festival’s irreplaceable treasures. She is the only contemporary Georgian artist who sings exclusively in Georgian, yet her music knows no borders: it captivates and touches audiences around the world. Her performances are distinguished by their intense emotionality and authenticity, resonating with every audience regardless of cultural or language barriers.
Nino’s music can be described as “artistic jazz” – she masterfully blends jazz improvisation with elements of rock, pop, and psychedelia, while preserving the soul of Georgian music. This multifaceted approach, combined with her magnetic presence, turns each of her performances into an unforgettable experience.
Born in Adjara, Nino has followed her musical calling since childhood. Her studies at the Batumi Music Institute, collaborations with choirs and symphony orchestras, and her rich discography all attest to her creative mastery and versatility. She has performed on some of the world’s finest stages, but her concerts at Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala are always particularly special — they are moments when music becomes a story of the heart and soul.
As Nino herself says: “I sing with emotions, not with words. The improvisations that arise in concerts come from the depths of my soul.”
This genuine devotion and profound connection with her audience are the essence of her art — and it is precisely this that keeps festival guests coming back to relive these unforgettable moments.
The Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala 2025 festival will take place from July 25 to 27 at the Dzintari Concert Hall, with Nino Katamadze’s performance set to be one of the highlights of the evening on July 27 — an experience that will linger in memory long after the final notes fade.
