One of the most prominent European electronic pop projects of the last decade, Kadebostany, will make its highly anticipated debut at the Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala festival on Friday, July 24.
Founded by producer and composer Guillaume de Kadebostany, the collective has spent over a decade as one of Europe’s most conceptual and visually striking musical acts. Their sound is a sophisticated blend of pop, electronica, indie, and contemporary performance art. The artists themselves describe their style as “sophisticated music with mass appeal” – music that maintains artistic depth while resonating with a global audience.
Kadebostany rose to worldwide fame with hits such as “Castle in the Snow”, “Mind If I Stay”, and “Take Me To The Moon”. Their hauntingly unique interpretation
of Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love” gained international acclaim as part of the “Fifty Shades of Grey” soundtrack. With over a billion streams and hundreds of sold-out shows across the globe, Kadebostany has become a staple at major European music festivals. In 2026, the band continues its ambitious world tour, “The Outsider Tour”, in support of their latest album, “The Outsider”, which critics have already hailed as one of the most creatively powerful works in the project’s history. Each of their performances is more than just a concert; it is a meticulously crafted audio-visual show with a majestic and unmistakable aesthetic.
“Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala has always aimed to bring together artists with a unique signature and genuine charisma. Kadebostany is exactly that – a project that embodies a modern European sound, high-level aesthetics, and incredible stage energy,” says the festival’s hostess, Laima Vaikule.
