Alongside internationally acclaimed stars, one of the defining traditions of Laima Vaikule’s festival Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala remains the participation of Latvia’s finest performers. It is precisely this fusion of international names with the leading voices of the national scene that has, over many years, made the festival a uniquely significant musical event in the Baltics. From 24 to 26 July, the stage of Dzintari Concert Hall will host both established masters of Latvian popular music and vibrant representatives of the new generation shaping its contemporary sound. Each of the three festival evenings will offer audiences its own programme and a distinctive line-up of Latvian artists.
The musical ambassadors and hosts of all three festival evenings will, of course, be the leading gentlemen of the Latvian stage – Jānis Stībelis and Normunds Rutulis. They will delight the audience not only with unexpected duets alongside fellow performers but will also bring to each evening their signature charm, subtle wit and impeccable command as hosts.
Intars Busulis is an artist who needs no introduction to the Latvian public – one of the country’s most beloved performers, whose stage energy has long been his hallmark. Every one of his appearances is a powerful emotional charge, a genuine connection with the audience and a true musical show that seamlessly weaves together virtuoso vocals, improvisation and unfeigned sincerity.
Aminata is one of the brightest voices in Latvian music of the past decade – a Eurovision 2015 finalist with Love Injected, the song that brought Latvia its best result at the contest since 2005. In 2025, the singer released the album Liela meitene, opening a new chapter in her artistic journey. On the eve of her major solo concert at the Palladium Concert Hall, Aminata will present at the festival a special programme featuring both her most acclaimed compositions and her newest songs.
Citi Zēni – perhaps the most distinctive band on Latvia’s new music scene. Blending pop, funk, neo-soul and rap, the group rapidly became a true musical phenomenon. Following their appearance at Eurovision 2022 with Eat Your Salad, the collective has continued to strengthen its positionfusical projects. with unwavering confidence, while the album Cits līmenis and their newest singles have only reaffirmed the band’s standing as one of the country’s most sought-after musical projects.
Dināra Rudāne possesses one of the most powerful and emotionally resonant voices in Latvia. Her vocal range allows her to move with equal conviction across jazz, rock, pop and the classical repertoire. In recent years, the singer has presented ambitious concert programmes dedicated to the world’s legendary female performers, among them Whitney Houston, invariably captivating audiences with the power of her voice, her artistry and the emotional depth of her interpretation.
Patrisha is one of the brightest artists on the contemporary Latvian scene and the first Latvian performer to have signed an international contract with Universal Music. At the end of 2025, the singer
released her long-awaited debut album Periodi, whose tracks continue to receive extensive airplay on Latvian radio.
Markus Riva is an artist of vivid charisma and unerring stage instinct, whose name has returned to the spotlight once again following last year’s victory in the popular television project Koru kari together with Talsu Baltais koris. On the Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala stage, he will present a new concert programme, preserving the very energy that has kept him for many years among the most recognisable performers of the Latvian pop scene.
JUSSENDO is a jazz vocalist, composer and creator of her own musical projects. Her work draws together jazz, soul and funk, while every performance is distinguished by refined musicality, accomplished artistry and a distinctive atmosphere.
