On 27 July, the Dzintari Concert Hall became the epicentre of music, style and emotion as the final gala of Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala 2025 played to a packed house. All tickets had been sold well in advance, while dozens of people gathered at the entrance hoping to secure a spot at the last moment. The evening turned into a true celebration of music and connection, blending elegance, energy and the festival’s unique atmosphere.
The Sunday gala concert is always a highlight. Glamorous guests and artists graced the red carpet, while the hall was filled with anticipation and excitement. The evening opened with Markus Riva and the White Choir from Talsi, winners of this year’s “Choir Battles”, setting a powerful emotional tone for the night.
Among the most memorable moments were Laima Vaikule’s duets with Bi-2 and Andrey Makarevich – a rare combination of onstage chemistry and musical magic. Potap and his Slavic Balagan electrified the audience with unrestrained positivity, while the radiant Nastya Kamenskikh transformed the stage into a true star-studded spectacle. Nino Katamadze, already a cherished tradition of the festival, once again made the hall hold its breath, as her voice wrapped the listeners in goosebumps and reverent silence. The audience could not stay seated during the infectious energy of Oleg Kenzov and Moldovan group Sunstroke Project, while Nikolay Trubach’s performance brought a dose of lyricism and delicate romance to the night. The dramatic and immensely talented Michał Szpak once again captivated the crowd – not only with his striking presence but with a voice that carried every emotion. Latvian stars Dinara Rudane, Patrisha, Jānis Stībelis, Normunds Rutulis and Citi Zēni delivered the hits that the Laima Rendezvous audience awaits every year and sings along to with passion.
Laima Vaikule shared heartfelt words of gratitude:
“Thank you to every artist, sponsor and audience member who gave this evening their heart, their love and their music. Without you, there would be no atmosphere, no joy of this meeting. Tonight in Dzintari, we once again felt that the festival lives because of you and for you.”
The night gathered an exceptional audience – among the guests spotted were Oleg Tinkov, Pyotr Aven, Yuliy Krumins, Jūrmala City Council Chairman Gatis Truksnis and many other admirers of live music and the festival’s unique atmosphere.
Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala 2025 took place from 25 to 27 July at Dzintari Concert Hall.
