Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala 2025 continues to enrich this summer’s musical season with exciting new names. Joining the already announced performers are three distinctive artists, each representing a different musical world and cultural background. On July 25, the Dzintari Concert Hall will welcome the virtuoso duo of singer Arpi Alto and guitarist-composer Emil Khachaturyan, while on July 27, one of the brightest young talents in the Baltics – Stefan – will take the stage.

Music that touches the soul: Arpi Alto and Emil Khachaturyan

The joint performance by Arpi and Emil promises to be one of the most refined and emotionally powerful events in this year’s festival. It is more than a concert – it is a dialogue between two sensitive artists who merge classical vocal training, the freedom of jazz, ethnic rhythms, and profound inner philosophy.

Arpi Alto, a singer from Armenia, possesses a rare and deeply resonant vocal timbre (contralto / mezzo-soprano). Her voice is often compared to the breath of mountains or the whisper of ancient prayers – it pierces the listener’s soul and leaves a lasting impression. Arpi doesn’t simply sing – she lives through every note, turning music into a form of intimate meditation.

Her stage partner, Emils Khachaturyan, is a unique figure with an extraordinary personal story. Born into a multilingual Armenian immigrant family, Stefan’s love for music was nurtured from an early age. He worked in his family’s restaurant, enjoyed cooking, and learned to sing in four languages: Estonian, Armenian, Russian, and English. Today, his performances reach far beyond Estonia. His music is a vibrant blend of sincerity, charisma, and melodies that captivate from the very first note.
