One of the most influential musicians in the Russian-speaking cultural world, Andrey Makarevich, will return to the stage of the legendary Dzintari Concert Hall on July 25 as part of the Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala 2025 festival, taking place from July 25 to 27.
Makarevich — a singer-songwriter whose name has been synonymous with sincere music, poetic lyrics, and a voice of his generation for over five decades — is the founder and permanent frontman of the iconic band Mashina Vremeni. He is also a published author, visual artist, and public intellectual. Despite changes in geography and time, Makarevich continues his creative path, staying true to himself and his audience.
Currently based in Israel, he brings new meaning and perspective to his work. His concerts are more than performances — they are heartfelt dialogues with the audience. Last year, his duet with Laima Vaikule at Dzintari was met with standing ovations, and his performance of the Israeli national anthem became a deeply moving moment of unity and respect.
Makarevich’s return to the festival stage this summer is eagerly anticipated by both fans and festival organizers.
The Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala festival, taking place from July 25 to 27, 2025, will celebrate its 8th edition as one of the most anticipated musical events of the Latvian summer.
