The international music festival Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala 2026 reveals the headline event of its closing night – on 26 July, the iconic duo Potap and Nastya will take the stage of the Dzintari Concert Hall as the evening’s headliners. For the first time in nine years, the two artists will stand together under the same spotlight, reuniting with the hits that defined an era.
The announcement has already claimed its place as the music story of the year. The duo’s sweeping world tour will launch with a landmark concert in New York on 19 December, after which they will carry their reunion across the globe. But their very first live performance ahead of those international dates will happen here – on the Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala stage – a distinction that speaks to the festival’s singular place in the world of live music.
One of the most celebrated pop acts of their generation, Potap and Nastya officially stepped away from their partnership in October 2017 – at the undisputed peak of their powers. In the years prior, the duo had become genuine record-breakers: dozens of major industry awards, multi-platinum certifications across multiple markets, and billions of views on streaming and video platforms. Their choice of Jūrmala for this landmark return carries its own quiet poetry – one of the duo’s final performances before their long hiatus took place on this very stage, at Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala.
The years apart were anything but idle. Under her solo project NK, Nastya Kamenska built a commanding international career: her Spanish-language releases climbed the Billboard Tropical Songs and Billboard Hot 100 Argentina charts, reached the global Shazam year-end rankings, and earned her a place of honour at the Latin Grammy and Premios Lo Nuestro ceremonies. She has shared the stage with the legendary Black Eyed Peas. Potap, for his part, solidified his reputation as one of Eastern Europe’s foremost music industry visionaries – building the region’s largest entertainment group and bringing his eclectic project Slavic Balagan to international audiences, most recently to a standing ovation at Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala last year.
Yet for all their individual achievements on the world stage, the industry and millions of devoted fans never stopped waiting. This reunion is not a nostalgic detour what is the natural continuation of two parallel evolutions, converging once more into something greater than the sum of its parts.
For this historic occasion, the duo has prepared an entirely new concert programme. Potap and Nastya are ready to bring back everything their fans have missed – and then raise the bar higher still.
